Fats and Carbohydrates has a bad reputation within the diet world, but fats and carbs are necessary for a healthy diet. Brown rice and whole grain bread with lots of vegetables, will provide the best sources of the carbs, that your body needs for its main fuel. The body burns carbs quicker than fat, so fats maintain a stable blood glucose level. The main building blocks for healthy cholesterol is fats. The job of cholesterol is to keep neutotransmitter and brain functions running smoothly. As much as possible, choose whole foods, whole grains, raw fruit, unsalted nuts and seeds for your health. Try not to use processed foods, because whole foods take longer to digest, which gives you a feeling of fullness longer. Fats and carbs, in moderation, will help your diet, not hurt it.
