The job of cholesterol is to keep neutotransmitter and brain functions running smoothly. As much as possible, choose whole foods, whole grains, raw fruit, unsalted nuts and seeds for your health. Try not to use processed foods, because whole foods take longer to digest, which gives you a feeling of fullness longer. Fats and carbs, in moderation, will help your diet, not hurt it.
