'Once a year, since 2013 artists come together on the white sugar sands of Clearwater Beach to show off their talent, through 1,000 tons of Sugar Sand sculptures. This years theme is "Sea The World" A Journey Around the Globe; displayed in a 21,000 SF structure. Several artists are local, others come from Canada, Mexico and the Netherlands.
Enjoy FREE activities for all ages, including a children’s play area, street performers, artisans and crafter's, live entertainment, fireworks, sand sculpting classes, speed sand demonstrations, and the master sand sculpting competition. You get to vote on the best. It was a fascinating day, ending with a ride on the Clearwater Ferry, back to my car in Clearwater. (Free Parking).
